Letter - Robert Milner Bear to Mom, Mrs. John L. Bear (Postmarked Mar. 15, 1943 | 1:30PM) Postmark on envelope reads: West Lafayette, IND. Mar. 15, 1943 | 1:30PM The stamp is a purple 3¢ eagle with wings in a "V" and labeled in a banner across the front of the eagle, "Win The War". Below that at the very bottom in the middle it reads, "United States Postage". Just above this on each side it says 3¢. Around the eagle and its wings are stars. On the back of the envelope it reads Purdue University with the Purdue seal over the top of the letters. Letter is written hand written on top spiraled lined paper and one page in length. Written on both sides.
