Letter - Robert Milner Bear to Mom, Mrs. John L. Bear (Postmarked Aug. 18, 1943 | 10:00AM) Postmark on envelope reads: US Navy, Aug. 18, 1943 | 10:00AM Two purple 3¢ Thomas Jefferson stamps (totaling 6¢) showing his profile and labeled in the top right corner: United States Postage. Below that it reads: Thomas Jefferson 1801-1804. In the center bottom it reads: Cents with the number 3 on either side. By the stamps and in the postmark waves is written AIR MAIL Letter is written on plain white paper. At the top is letterhead showing the emblem of the SeaBees (a flying bumblebee shooting a machine gun). Around the emblem in a circle is a rope and in behind everything are crossed anchors. Underneath it reads U.S. Naval Construction Training Center, Camp Peary, Williamsburg, Virginia Letter is one page in length and written on both sides.
