NY NY Addressed to: Arthur Haupert RR1 Urbana, Indiana The top middle of the envelope is postmarked US Army Postal Service APO 95, Apr. 12, 1945. In the lower left is a censor's stamp reading: Passed by US Army Examiner #40377 and hand signed (Charles W. Zimmer, Lt F.A.). The stamp in the top right is an Air Mail (6¢) stamp, red with a plane on it reading United States of America. On the back of the envelope is another postmark: Urbana, ILL, Apr 21, 1945 / 10:30-AM The letter stationary is plain, non-lined paper, with the letter written in pen. The letter is three pages long and written only on one side in cursive.
