This bag has two owners and according to a handwritten note, the bag originally belonged to Lt. Richard H. Weine and was transferred to Lt. Frank W. Hancock after Lt. Weine was wounded. The note reads: "I carried this bag during the Meuse-Argonne Offensive October, 1918. It originally belonged to a Lieut R.
