US 1¢ (1/100 dollar) coin, commonly called a Lincoln Cent and, specific to this era, a "wheat penny" or "wheat cent". Pennies with the "wheat design on the reverse were minted 1909–1958, this one dated 1909 comes from the first mintage year.
