Description

A one-story storefront building with a sign that reads, "A.E. Worden Central Market." The building has large windows and dentils. This was the only grocery store in Cos Cob in the early 1900's. Mr. Albert Finiels, one of the last three living, original "Seaton's Indians" of Cos Cob, was a nephew of Mr. A.E. Worden, owner and proprietor of the store. "Al" Finiels worked before and after school, and on Saturdays as delivery boy. Al also worked as an assistant in the store.
