The front drive approach to the main residence of "The Orchards" in Round Hill, lined with birch trees. The thirty two room, Georgian-Colonial style residence was built circa 1909-1919 by Tyler Redfield and was one of several residences on the original 112 acre estate. The house's two story, Greek Revival entrance portico is surrounded by Doric columns. Half-round windows are in the pediment and roof. Above the front door is a balcony surrounding a French door and side windows capped by an elliptical fanlight window. A white balustrade surrounding a widow's walk sits on top of the central portion of the the roof.Collection
